The Industrial Gases and Machinery Segment consists of the air-separation gases, specialty gases, gas-supply facilities, welding materials, manufacturing equipment, pumps and compressors, industrial machinery and facilities, factory automation systems, and environmental equipment. The Materials Segment offers stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, functional plastic products, electronic display materials, mineral sand, and rare earth metals. The Agri-Bio and Foods Segment handles the frozen vegetables and fruits, health food items, livestock-related products, agri-bio goods, and food plant sanitation management. The Others segment engages in the finance, insurance, transportation, and information processing businesses. Iwatani was founded by Naoji Iwatani on May 5, 1930 and is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
