NVPS does not invest directly in NVIDIA Corp. (NASDAQ: NVDA) but focuses on companies that play a meaningful role in its ecosystem. The fund invests in companies from developed countries, plus Korea and Taiwan. The ETF identifies supply chain participants through FactSet Supply Chain Relationships data, considering their involvement and revenues related to NVDA's operations. Investments may include semiconductor manufacturing, data-center infrastructure, power and thermal management systems, and other supporting technologies. Selected companies are assigned under six pillars (Raw Materials, Tools, Fabrication, Packaging, Infrastructure, or Connectivity) and three levels (Supporting, Core, or Critical). Weights are then calculated using these pillars and level designations. NVDA designs and manufactures graphics processors and AI hardware and software utilized in gaming, professional visualization, data centers, and the automotive industry. The index is rebalanced semi-annually.
