First Trust Equity Market Neutral ETF(AMEX:NTRL)

NTRL is actively managed ETF seeking to provide an equity market neutral approach. The overall performance is driven by the net performance of long and short US equity positions, independent of directional movements in the broad equity market. The ETF will pursue its investment objective using US exchange-listed equity securities, including exposure obtained through ETFs and financial derivative instruments such as futures or total return swaps. The portfolio can be expected to have exposure ranging from 150%-250% in long positions and 150%-250% in short positions. The portfolio management team consists of members of the First Trust Alternatives Investment Team. Prior to June 23, 2026, the fund pursued a global merger arbitrage strategy using sub-advisor. The fund name was First Trust Merger Arbitrage ETF and traded under the ticker MARB.
